Default About the acticle on mastering.

    Hi,
The recently posted article talking about mastering, EQing and compressing your sound in awesome. But as my setup is made with an external mixer and 2 CDJs 350 (as midi controllers, no external soundcard) so i can't use any "digital" method.
Can you give me names of hardware that could do the same thing ? I mean master EQ, plus features like attack/release, sidechain etc, like this :

Hope you understood what i meant,
Thanks in advance for further replys,
    dope

That's a compressor, simple enough. And if you want an EQ, then just go get an EQ. I don't think they make a unit that's both a compressor AND an EQ unless you gett something like an SSL Channel strip,

He's referring to the article on the front page talking about applying FX on your mix WHILE playing live to help it gel together more and sound smoother and not as harsh

I'd like to have hand on master output, be able to change the sound "color", something like that. I really want to appropriate myself other people tracks, i wan't the audience to ear my "vision" of things.
I'm not super pro on that compressor stuff etc, i might look weird for you all but i think you got the point
