Default Help a fella find the right midi mixer

    Hello there!
I'm looking for a quality midi dj controller within the price of 5-600 dollars.
two channels is fine. I'm a beginner in the dj world. Deephouse is my thing.
I've been looking at reviews but there are so many... Thought it would be easier just asking.

Do you guys have any recommendation?

    Cheers!

Have a look at the soon to be released NI S2, and wait and see what comes out at BPM in a couple of weeks.

The NI S2 seems really interesting.
I forgot to say that I've got a NI audio 4 soundcard from a friend who didnt need it. So I guess its a bit unnecessarily to have it... Or might there be a controller without inbuilt soundcard that could be cheaper for me?
Also, you got a link to BPM?

I'd sell it and put that money towards your controller or something. Unless you're using vinyl control I'm not sure I see the point of the Audio 4.

VCI-100 . If you want a controller without a sound card, look into it. Some really killer firmware and mappings available on these very pages, and you might be able to pick one up cheap these days.

Gosh. I think you are right bout that.
I went tru many of the mixers " DJ Controllers: The Ultimate Buyer’s Guide 2011" http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2010/11...-guide-2011/2/

and then i read about the S2 on djtechtools.
    http://www.djtechtools.com/2011/08/2...xclusive-look/

many pointed out in the comments that they had no reason to upgrade to S2 from the vestax 100.

I do also think the vestax looks as nice as the S2, aesthetical

And since I got a great soundcard.

Both of them seem pretty simple and clean too. I just want to do some oldschool housemixing with new hardware.

But sure. If i could get some money from the NI Audio 4, and then buy the S2 for the same price at getting a Vestax. Yeah well, whatever, i'll have a look at ebay. Also moving to the UK, from scandinavia wich makes it cheaper and easier to get a controller.... form ebay.

I also had a look at the Numark Mixtrack / pro. But the Vestax 100 seem to... charm me more.
