Default VCI 100 Arcarde - Using new clear button cases

I had a thought - with the arcade mod - what happened to the LED connections on the buttons that were on there.

Is it possible to solder or attach some LEDs back on and use the new clear case arcade buttons?

I may have jumped the gun here a bit - I've just watched the VCI 100 Arcade Mod video

I saw that you basically take snip off the whole circuit board that had the LED controllers on it.

Hmmmm - so I'm guessing this is a no then ...

I've had this same thought. All you need to do is find +5 volts in the case and run a series of led with proper resistors to light up the clear case. Am going to do it to mine.
