Default Serato to Traktor / Traktor SSL Database Importer question

    Hi all!

    The situation is this.
In everyday DJing I'm using Serato. But after I purchased DDJ-T1 I'd like to use both Serato and Tarktor on one Macbook Pro. I'd like to keep the main music folders for both program separate. So I duplicated the Serato Music folder. I imported the music from the duplicated folder to Traktor Track Collection, everything is fine. Now comes the tricky part. I used 'Traktor SSL Database Importer' to convert Serato crates to Traktor playlists. Again, I got it done, but my problem is this. In Traktor the imported crates take the music from the Serato music folder not from the duplicated folder which was intended for Traktor. Is there a simple way to change file location in TP? It would be really annoying if I'd have to create all the playlists from scratch...

    Can you help?

    Thanks.

You can change the file location in preferences.

    Thanks photojojo for your reply.

Yeah, I know. Under 'Music Folders' I added the copied one and deleted the default one, but still the imported playlists take their files from Serato Music folder...

Or did you mean something different?

You'd have to open the collection.nml and change the file-paths in the file.

With the right [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regular_expression"]Regular expression - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] this is probably gonna be easy.

    Hi, HedgeHog!

Can you please explain in more detail how to do it?

    Thanks.
