I listened to your track on the Klipschs, with the sub turned on. Here's my feedback.

    - I liked the beats, and the video format. With something like this, it's important to see what key presses are doing.

    - As a slight criticism, without an overlay/inlay of the software, it is hard to tell what *some* button presses are doing.

    - I liked the track more than I like an awful lot of "glitch hop" ... for it to be "live" is extra impressive.

Thanks for posting, and keep at it!

Thank you for your feedback Awsomer, about the screen layer in the video - we had only one cam and on the screen there are no waterfalls, just a couple of tracks in ableton and what I am doing is controlling simple FX such as ring modulator, bit crusher, loopers, delays, pitch, hi/lo cut on the touchpad and scene lounch. On the next video I will try to make a couple of software screens. And I don't actually understand what did you mean saying: "an awful lot of "glitch hop" ..."

    Cheers!

What I meant by that comment is that to me a lot of Glitch Hop, even stuff by the Big Names in Glitch Hop, kinda sounds like bad dance music made by people who just discovered, 20 years later, that rave happened. It's not musical, and you can't dance to it, it's the worst of both worlds. In contrast, I liked your track pretty alright.

Of course you have right to have your own opinion on glitch hop, but I think you kinda wrong about it. Try reading this maybe: http://afromonk.com/2010/07/what-is-glitch-hop/
Some prefer mayonnaise and the others ketchup, I like not to think about BPM and to play with some glitchy noise and a fat beat

    Cheers!

While I appreciate the blog post..

I am very familiar with where "Glitch Hop" comes from and where it has gone in recent years. Suffice it to say, "Crying Over Pros" is still one of the best "Glitch Hop" albums I have heard, and it's seven years later. Most of the rest of what is now called "Glitch Hop," I stand by what I said above. If I can go to one of the biggest "Glitch Hop" nights in the world and the biggest dancefloor reaction is when the DJ plays Little Wayne, I might be getting at something with my critique.

YMMV, and clearly does. As I said, I felt your music was above this average, so.. FWIW!
