Deep house jocks always seem to sweat rotary mixers. I think this would be a pretty fun thing to spin long butter mixes on.

My dream house setup would be a 4channel rotary and 4 cdj2000s.

    I can dream right?

You can get a xone s2 with rotaries. Still not cheap but not as bad as the Rane where you pay that much for the volume knobs and then another $600 for the EQs.

Thats what we had at metropolis.

    funny story incoming.....

we were the first promoters to bring sasha and digweed to the western united states.

When john and sasha showed up at the club, they put down their gear, greeted everyone before the club opened. When they went to check out the booth though, there was a little bit of confusion. Sasha had never seen a rotary mixer before. I got to watch (from a polite distance of course =p) digweed teach sasha how to mix on a rotary before we opened =p.

Deep House is my fave tooo...

Learning to key-match by ear helps with the long mixes. A four band eq is a must.
