    Default Choosing my DJing name

Hey folks, It is time to get into the game really for serious and I will start this thread with a famous scream in the Psytrance Scene:

"NOW IT'S THE TIME TO TAKE WHAT IS MINE!" by Dudev

Basically I will start to promote myself and I need a proper facebook user/page/soundcloud, to sum up, I need a DJ identity on the interwebzz

Since my name is Vinicius Hoffmann and I admire the Albert Hoffmann's work on the Psychedelics, and since there are so many references in the Psytrance Scene to Albert, I think there is a good idea to use my last name on my DJing name. Also a lot of my friends doesn't even know me by Vinicius, just by Hoffmann, Hoff, Hoffz, and so on.

I've come with an idea that could work. Since Albert was an Doctor (more a researcher but doctor PhD too) I was thinking to use Doctor in my DJ name. It can work on the flyers and I can think in a lot of artworks, album and song names using the theme Doctor, Hoffmann and Psytrance.

What do you guys think? I need to choose one between two bellow:

Doc Vin Hoff (short for Doctor Vin Hoffmann)
Doc Von Hoff (short for Doctor Von Hoffmann)

I'm thinking to use the short version for flyers/logo name and the long for personal promo, facebook/myspace/soundcloud pages.

If you have another idea be wellcome to suggest me. Also if the name is offensive or funny in any other language that I don't know, please alert me before I take my decision

Also check my latest mix on my signature to know what's my style

As always thank everybody from DJTT community and thanks Dudev for such a great scream lol

I prefer the simpler 'DJ V-Hoff' than the Doc ones!

I'm trying to avoid put DJ in front of the name.
And PhD is not so appealing here is Brazil...
    But thanks for your suggestion

It's not the gear. It's how you use it.
limitations are the source of creativity.
If you don't practice you don't want it.

Thanks to those who like my actual name too, but the letter V alone doesn't have the same sonority in Portuguese or in Spanish that has in English, I don't think that will have the same power as Vin or Von...

But I like that the V-Hoff sounds good in English, maybe I can use it when I start to play on foreign countries
