Problems with s4 scratch upgrade

Hey I purchased the Traktor Scratch upgrade and I can't seem to figure it out. I have Traktor Scratch installed now reading the timecodes but it doesn't seem to recognize my S4. It plays fine through it but none of the eq or anything on the controller works. The sample decks just read "on". Any ideas or is there a guide for this thing?

you may have lost your default mapping for the s4, try loading it in on the controller editor section under settings ->controller editor -> new ->traktor ->s4
OR make sure midi mode is off by pressing shift and browse.... see if one of those is it
