    Alright, you lay down the beat grid and test it. Before you check where the lines are on the rest of the grid, just make sure that one is perfect. You do this by selecting the Grid Marker and hitting Cue/Pause, and moving the grid as necessary. Once that is set perfectly THEN check the rest of the grid and move the BPM, NOT the whole grid, so it lines up.

    I'm going to try it when my lady is asleep as she's not very impressed at my 'i will clean the apartment' day. As i didnt end up even moving once.

    hey guys:
    another question for you.

    i imported my traktor 3 playlist to traktor pro today and found out that the beatgrids are not exactly as in traktor 3.

    Make sure you don't have the autogrid function checked in preferences. Then have TPro read the tags and it should be there.

    I'm just now getting into beatgridding myself, but think of it like this: changing the bpm makes the grid shrink or expand, and the move function just moves it right or left.

    That is a great way to look at it. Stick to this rule and we cant go wrong
