Talking All Genre Mix Battle... With a twist?

So, I am REALLY bored at the moment.. So I had an amazing idea (Not sure if its been done before or not) But here it is:

People post song requests, and when there is 5-10 songs, the mixing begins. These are random songs mind. And one has to mix these 10 completely peer chosen songs into a 30 minute (or less mix). Then after a while - there is a public vote for the best mix.

Now, if no one is interested in participating in the mix. Still submit songs: Because i will mix them (since i'm that bored) and i will upload the finished mix for you people.

    SUBMIT SONGS PEOPLES

Songs (May be played in any Order):

    • 9 to 5 - Dolly Parton
    • One - Swedish House Mafia
    • Knife Party ft. Skrillex - Zoology
    • Teenage Love - SlickRick
    • Al naafiysh - Hashim
    • Drop it like its Hot - Snoop Dogg Feat. Pharrell
    • Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus (Eric Prydz remix)
    • DMX - X Gon' Give It To Ya
    • Uhn tiss - Bloodhound gang
    • Lonely Island - I just had Sex

    Battlers:
    • Me
    • JoseIglesMusic
    • Rhashime
    • DJ Jamie Jay
    • BlackPete
    • Dwonka27

    INFO:
So we now have 6 Battlers, and 10 songs - Which i think is enough for a 30 minute mix. Should be good

If you haven't yet sent me you're email address, could you please PM me your email would be great (for easy communication)

I think a reasonable time frame for this to be in would be the 22nd of October (A Saturday) But no stress if its like 12 hours or something behind me because of time zones. I live in Sydney +11

Other rules - EVERY song listed MUST be played or sampled within the mix, and the final copy should be below half an hour in run time. Final copy should also be uploaded to SoundCloud/MixCloud and link sent to me no later than the 22nd of October so i can make the judging thread. You can chuck in fillers and stuff if you want but no other songs should be played I don't believe. Anyway.... GO

Can i just submit track titles?

Before we begin, honestly you like soft (lower bpm) music or harder ones?

    Generally.. I play 120-130ish house / electro

But the whole concept of this is to get people outside of their 'comfort zones' :P

Alright, since your comfort zone is the 120-130 bpm range..

how about try mixing some of these tracks, this is quite a challenge since i never done it myself...yes it's hella cheesy but it's big in our place :P
well it's all up to you though if you can't stand the tunes :P

    Default I'll play

I'll accept the challenge to a battle. We need some more people to suggest some tracks though.
