DJ Names Thread

Yeah I know, most of you will just look and say another DJ name thread or not this thread again but it's something fundamental and really important in a DJ's career. I already have some ideas, but they all seem wack. I was thinking with either just going with my name which is Hector Ortiz or something like simply DJ Hek. or DJ Hek Hek. I'm also trying to get this over with since I'm designing a custom 12inchskinz skin for my S4.

I would say a DJ name is far less important than the music they play/produce.

DJ names are only important if you've got a really boring name like John Smith (no offence if there's any John Smith's reading, I think you're special and unique if nobody else does).

And are completely unimportant if you're not gigging yet. Because the only time they're used is for promoting you in gigs...unless you want to gather a collection of Soundcloud groupies for some kind of orgy via Skype.

Your name is Hector Ortiz. That's a cool, standout name in itself. Use that! Any other significance placed on a name is based around how good you are.
