    Default Question for the kiwis

I'm starting to put things together for my visit in May and i was wondering what the Dnb anthems that are being played out there. I have a relatively dark sound and i'm probably gonna be pushing some new stuff from Ammunition Recs. Any tracks I should steer clear of? Also, what is the avg price of cigarettes, herb, Redbulls and Vodka, and foods (vegitarian and normal)? Looking forward to meetin all of ya! SO STOKED!!!

werd! you be here for the 2nd of may? Jday!
ciggs- $34 for 50g + papers and filters or $12ish for tailys
herbs- $20 per tinny(gram) or $50 for an 8th-6th oz ($300 per oz)
erm-vodka and redbull at the bar youre lookin at $6-8 but i havent had that in ages so i could be wrong :P
im a vege, its cheap. we have good meat here but i dont usually eat so idk?

as for tracks.... most of the dnb heads here dont actually know as much as they should, so all the popular tracks go off (timewarp, high contrast etc) im all about the darkness too, dark and slammin, brings the vibes
we'll have to see if we can get you a set at one of our gigs!

This, but remember to halve these prices to get the US$ value.

Pretty much straight up with the DnB stuff, NZ'rs love DnB but they dont really know lots about it. Playing NZ tracks always goes down well (SoM, Upbeats, Concord etc). Playing some unknown stuff is always good tho.

Mike, Damien is staying at mine for a week, holding a gig on the 29th/30th (most likely, not finalised yet), so you should roll down here & play for that (tbh I'd already counted u in ;P), tho perhaps we could sus a 'Tron gig as well?. I'm going to try sus him a gig at Sammies or somewhere else down here as well.

Fuck yes he fk'n owns man. His set down here was mad. Turntable + Sampler = FTW. I've got several of his tunes. His Los Angeles album is the dopeness. Really love his style. In fact hes one of my favorite artists atm. Downbeat / trHip-Hop / dubstep / wtf. Awesome.

if you want to play DnB in NZ you should also come to Christchurch. DnB is crazy here, always has been, it never dies. Dubstep is getting bigger here too. I'm not a big fan but still good listening none the less. Be sure to drop some Ed Rush and Optical and Bad Company.

Maybe search google for the clubs Base and Ministry, and for bars/clubs, Double Drop, Level One, Double Happy...? Let me know if you want links as I can probably find them.

Hope the exchange rate is still good for you in May. Kaon's quotes are on par. May is a good time to come. The winter tends to bring more of the DnB heads out.
    Macbook 2Ghz, 4Gb Ram, Presonus Firebox, X-Session Pro, Behringer BCR2000, Technics RPDJ-1200's.
