Set the FILTER parameter to taste. Note that for infinite freezes, the FILTER must be closed (i.e., the parameter must be at its minimum). Ean seems to work with a range between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock in his vids (that's just a rough estimate).

The setting of the FEEDB (feedback) parameter is irrelevant. The moment you engage the FRZ (freeze) button, FEEDB is turned to its maximum value automatically.

The RATE parameter is the funnest one to play with. Experiment! But to answer your question, it seems Ean uses 3/16 in most of his vids. It is def a rate that sounds nice in many scenarios. The same what goes for FILTER also goes for RATE: if you want long (or infinite) freezes, don't keep the parameter at its minimum.

Thanks guys! It's the wet/dry I am confused about. In the vidoe, he doesn't seem to have it load to a specific value.
    I'll experiment a little more.

Those parameters are not set in stone. It depends on the track that is playing. Here's a link to another vid where Ean demonstrates the echo freeze:

The effect setting which loads there is actually the Traktor default.
