How does the DJ get paid on the fundraising events. I will DJ for my friends Business Society in the school?

If the fundraiser is a non-profit, they will need to officially hire you. You can submit an invoice as DBA (doing business as)... you will need to use your real name in the invoice as if you're not incorporated it is illegal in most states to use an alias... look up sample DBA invoices on Google.
