You can take it back and change it. There is a grace period.

the new graphics upgrades are nice but the rest is hardly anything to cry over. think of it like this. Your "obsolete" MBP has better battery life with a slower cpu and gpu under the hood

You know, im at the point now where i dont care about specs anymore.
My next Mac will definitely be the lowest spec 13" cus its just for work DJing (high street clubs etc).
Ill stick a bigger HDD in and that will be it. I simply do not need an all singing all dancing MBP for Traktor.

I used to stress about getting the fastest, high spec MBP. Done it twice now and im over it.

The new 13" will rip the shit out of my current 2.53/8GB MBP 15". I dont use laptops for production or anything other than Traktor.

Tongue was in cheek. A quad-core will do me fine. Especially as Maschine doesn't yet have multi-core.

If anything, limitations promote good song-building in production (committing to audio etc).

So, the 13" got a 100MHz processor upgrade and better graphics…totally see why they didn't really shout about it…it barely qualifies as trivial. But, that's okay because the bottom-end 13" is still good enough for just about anything any reasonable person could want to do on a laptop.

    I'm way over buying high-end Apples…they're all high-end afaic.
