    Default VCI-100: black vs.silver

I am in a debate on if it is worth selling my VCI-100 silver for a black one?
Bsides the color, is the black much better? I like the blue on white lights and
heard the buttons and jog plates are better. I bought my VCI-100 for about 275.00 USD and to upgrade to a VCI-100B it would be another 250 or so..
    What u think?

    Yeah or nay?

The ones with flames on them go faster.

Unless you buy them from Ean, if you just buy a VCI-100 with black coloring then yes, the only difference is cosmetic.

I would then upgrade the FW to 1.3..
    Then a SE>

    about in Euro..
250 E..about twice the price because the VCI-100 silver I got was used, this one would be brand new..
I love the looks, but is it really worth it..Only thing I see being a real + is the improved blue/ white lighting.

the vci-100b are expensive the usually go for $550 USD plus s&h. They usually carry them on ebay (japan store) and in the UK Thomann, etc.

I would advise you to keep the silver vci buy the firmware kit & knobs and sliders when its avail and get the overlay or wait from the traktor pro one thats coming soon.

The VCI-100 SE or B models are really night and you could never go wrong with black, but for the B model all your really paying for is the white/blue leds, the rest you can mod on your own.
