i was talking about technics 1200s mk2 & the m3D. and i suppose a better question is which would you prefer and why?
To be honest, if you don't find the reset pitch that usefull then I would put them both up for sale for the same price and see which one sells first. I would think it might be easier to sell the M3D, but I will say a lot of people are only familiar with the MK2 or they want the original wheels of steel so maybe I'm wrong.
Honestly, I own the MK2's. But I like the M3D and newer decks a bit more.
Really, it's just a matter of having two of the same IMO. If you can go with a pair of M3D's over a pair of MK2's, it's probably a little bit better.
Honestly it's just about the pitch button/click thing. Everything else is pretty much the same. (And no, there is no reverse on the M3D's). So it's personal preference. Most people aren't huge fans of the click. But you can work around it, so it's not an issue.
