    Hasnt he always used the 2ks since they came out? Have u seen the pioneer djsounds vid of him? He works the shit out them..

    What do u mean by portability? Usb drive music access u mean?

    Carl has been one of my staple faves for years. My tastes in other djs goes up and down but hes one if the few ive followed for years.

    I think LB explained this pretty well a little while back.

    He's still a Traktor user, but after releasing his latest album on USB, and with some of his recent events being endorsed by Pioneer, he's been seen using only the DJM 2000 mixer and CDj set.

    I was also curious about it, but I think its also about preference. Now these days carrying around your entire collection on 2 USB's as opposed to a laptop and controller/DVS, is much easier.

    he probably got a set of CDJ2000s x2 + DJM2000 in exchange of using them ? as in endorsed by pioneer?
