    Default Technics SL1200 M3D

Coudn't find much info on the netz about them other than that they do not have the pitch detent, have a sunken power switch and a pitch reset button.

Found one locally and would like to know if it is worth picking up...

Any known issues? Same quality as MKs???

for all intents and purposes consider it an mk5 with an incandescent pop up light instead of an led popup light. the mk5s have more anti-skate but that shouldn't really mean much to you.

they are excellent tables and you can sometimes find good deals on them with less mark up than mk5s. if you want the led pop up you can get full led light kits for not much money.

Perfect, thanks mate! Craiglist is taking away my life

Edit: coming from CDJs, I don't know much about turntables. My main question is about grounding. I don't see any grounding screws on my Ecler mixer...do these need grounded and if so, how would I do that?

yes they need grounding, which mixer? they should have ground thumb screws, i've never seen a DJ mixer without them.

Yea I second that. I just sold mine for $350, but it was absolutely mint. Should be able to pick one up for anywhere from $250-350 on the regular, and you can always find the obscure deal every once in a while for less

Thanks guys. I can't get around to picking it up until Friday, so if all goes well, I'll share how much I paid then.

Follow up question. If I upgrade to Scratch 2, can I keep using my cdjs in HID mode like I did in Pro, or do I have to convert to timecode for them?
