    Default I hate racists!

At my gig tonight i encountered something new. I was in the middle of playing some DnB when this ass hat yelled at the top of his lungs, "Turn this black people music off! There are more white people... blah...blah...blah". I look around to see who is saying this tripe and i make eye contact with him. I give him the finger and continue playing. He continues to heckle and be a racist. So i send my boy to shut him up. He left promptly with a really scared look in his eye. I am so intolerant of intolerant behaviour. He was one more comment away from taking a leatherman to the nuts. Gah!!!! Ok. done venting

Damn that sux D, I run into that sometimes in my neck of the woods. I do my damn-est not to pay attention and not get sucked into their non-sense. All you can really do while your dj-ing is ask you boy to get security and have him escorted out. There is no reason for people to make those types of comments in the 1st place, he could have just walked up to you and ask how long the DnB set was going to be.

well i live in El Sereno, which is southeast of HP & next to alhambra, so you could imagine the melting pot we have here. Its very mixed, now that the property value has gone down alot of different races are moving in, I love it tho, being that I get to learn about peoples different cultures.

Lucky not to leave with a fist in his eye. Not from me, im 5ft 4" but from someone a lot bigger. Violence is never the 'answer' but just once id like to see someone like that get a smack for saying such a thing.

Racists like that say those thing because they think they can get away with it in 'that' particular situation. Maybe because he thought he was hard or there would be no-one to challenge him.

He would have been out the door in my club and may have 'accidently tripped' on the way especially as half the doorstaff are Black.

Id love to know what 'white music' he would have been happy to listen to.
He would probably have said something like "Eminem" cus hes white. Most , no ill change that to ALL racists are stupid like that.

The club I spin at is owned by an Asian, managed by a family of mexicans, bounced by Puerto Ricans, and one of out DJs is Honduran. I'd love to see these people flippin out on us. They'd get worse than falling down a flight of stairs.

Yeah, too many still deem it to be... Shame though, for too many reasons to list!
