Sup guys, so last night I played well but it was such a drag!!! from 6:30pm till 11:00pm they had me playing the shittest tracks, michael buble and what not as background music so I was basically volume fading for most of the night but at 11:00pm I finally got to mix some decent tracks (well stuff that's got a beat) I played pretty flawlessly I thought except for one mistake where I accidently left a filter on deck b which was cut all the way down and when to cut into it and no sound for a second which left the kiddies a bit shocked. unfortuantley all of the kids parents where there so they didn't get too wild :'( oh an I had a bit of a problem with my mac (thats right you read correctly) a lady gave me a CD to play at the last minute (thanks for the notice girly) and it tried to open up iTunes and wouldn't read and crashed iTunes so I threw my Fast track pro into my backup toshiba and chucked the CD in and it played fine??? does anybody know what could have happened (the files were MP3's). oh and i had a audio technician controlling the PA and the poof held the volume way down which was a total drag. all in all it was an alright night but nothing special. oh well I got decent pay $300 and the biggest flash from one of the hottest chicks so I guess that was my tip :P but in all seriousness I'm glad I got a decent amount of money for it as it was more work then fun.
