    Default Cloth for cleaning records

I have a bunch of these laying around my place (http://www.healthy-home-cleaning.com...products_id=55) and was wondering if they would be safe to use strictly to remove dust from my records. I read that it's important to dust records very often to maintain the quality of both the record and the needle, which makes sense. The article mentioned using a microfiber cloth (which these are) but left out any details past that. Just had to make sure these wouldn't slowly start scratching my records and I figure some veteran out there would have an answer.
Also, is it ridiculous to dust a record before every play? I figure it would only take a second, so if I was really trying to be quick about getting the next track rolling, I could still make a brief effort to dust the incoming record. I'm not sure if I'd just be looking stupid by doing this, but as far as mixing in the bedroom, I'm bound to do it as my tiny collection is already very near to my heart.

I often use use a microfiber towel very gently to pick up all the dust from the grooves.
I'll apply cleaning solution after if needed.

Dusting before every play can't hurt if you have the discipline. When I was playing out regularly I rarely dusted, and the records I played most often, well, it shows. Some tracks are no longer usable thanks to scratches and long-neglected dust. If I ever have time to sort through my record collection and do a major cleaning I will do so as some of the tracks can be salvaged with Groovy Cleaner and in some cases a good soaking, but it's a time-consuming process. Now I just avoid the tracks that are unplayable.... Had I taken better care, this could have been avoided. Then again, there's nothing quite like the feeling of blowing through a stack of records in a mix, tossing them aside after you play each one....

I dust off my timecodes, vinyl, and needles every single day I spin. It's a religious thing now.
