if my audio interface has 4 TRS line outs, does that mean i should in theory be able to run 4 deck outs with TP2, since TRS can be split into L/R RCA?

What interface?
if they are stereo outs then yes, they could just be balanced outs though
presonus audiobox 44vsl.
this is from their website:
2 balanced ¼” main (L/R) line outputs
4 balanced ¼” auxiliary (L/R) line outputs
Each of those looks like a mono balanced output. TRS can either mean stereo or balanced. I'm not sure how many channels it is but if the headphone out is on its own channel then you could still do 4 stereo decks out to traktor with it since the headphone is stereo and the other TRS outs are mono giving you 8 outs.
Input/Output
1 USB 2.0 port
2 combo XLR / ¼” mic/instrument inputs
2 combo XLR / ¼” mic/line inputs
2 balanced ¼” main (L/R) line outputs
4 balanced ¼” auxiliary (L/R) line outputs
1 stereo ¼” headphone output
MIDI In/Out
Sounds like you're looking for one of the fast track pro models from m-audio
Scratch that.. They only have a 3 out option I believe
My firebox allows me to map spdif to headphones, thus allowing for 8 outs.
Since that soundcard most probably does no use the same mixer and dsp innards, you will have to tinker with it.
But most definitely, those are mono-balanced, only thing you can di is convert them to mono-unbalanced.
Many photons have died to bring you this information.
