Having issues with a fader.

the problem with the fader is that while using it with traktor the fader is not accurate at all.. if the fader on the vci is located in the middle it will be located at the bottom on the traktor program..

do you think a very good lubricant would help.. and yeah i checked out the x-fader if nothing works i'll go for that

That sounds pretty much like circuit damage. The wiring is sending erroneous messages due to the damage.

i switched the left fader (which is the broken fader) with the right one and it worked fine

As in, you took out the hardware fader from the right side of the VCI and wired it into the left side?

Or are you saying you MIDI mapped Deck A's fader to the right side of the VCI in Traktor?

Yeah i swapped the hardware. The right one is now all buggy since it has the old left fader in it. And the left fader works fine with the old right fader in its spot.

Desolder the fader from the circuit board and replace it with this one;
