Default VCI-100SE TSI Version 2 Feedback

2_0 has some big changes (hense the 2.0) but its the most usable and fun TSI i have made so far. super easy to use but there are many, many deep layers of power under the surface.

First of all, I wanted to thank you for all your hard work. I switched from a Numark Omni Control to my VCI-100 thanks to your website, and never looked back. Thanks to your customizations, the VCI-100 is truly an amazing machine.

Using FW 1.3 with Traktor Pro v1.1.001

One problem I noticed was that with deck D engaged when I turned scratch off, instead of speeding up/slowing down the track, it controlled deck B.

In bank 1+2 mode the 2 fx knobs control fx 1 & 2. Since in fader fx mode, the pitch fader controls the first paramenter, wouldn't it be better for the knobs to control fx 2 & 3?

When enabling key lock for either deck B or D, it also turns on effect/parameter 2.

None of the labelled effect buttons load what the label says.

These are all I've found so far, but will post if I find anything else.

    Thanks,

    Gabor

P.S.: Would it ever be possible to make plates instead of the overlays? I'm planning on painting mine black and doing the arcade mod. I think it looks much cleaner with the plates instead of the stickers. Perhaps if we get enough people to commit, we could do a special group purchase?

How do you drop a loop? I can't seem to figure it out..

Edit: figured out how to drop one. Is there any way to change how many bars a loop is when its dropped, or is there a reason it always drops at 16 bars?

MattESSC, there is a reason it always defaults to 16, you'll have to go into Midi Mapping in preferences and dig around for a setting called, 'Loop Size' for decks A-D on notes F7, F#7, G7 and G#7 ... and look for Button Options, Set To Value = 16.. from there, assign the value you'd like it to be 4, 8, 32.... whatever.

First, I'd just like to second the comment that all your hard work on this new TSI is absolutely amazing! Thanks for keeping at it.

The only issue I've found so far with TPro 1.1 and FW 1.3 is that when I hit the deck C or D button it is changing the view on my screen from 4D+Int.Mixer to 2D Ext. Mixer. Any thoughts as to whats causing that?

@Davemex Yeah, took me a minute to figure it out. It is changing the view because it is going down two in your view settings. It is meant to go from 2D int to 4D int when you hit either deck C or D button. Then when you unselect C or D it goes back to previous view. These settings don't import with the tsi file, so set it up so that the first in the list is 2D int, and the third is 4D int. It will work perfect after that.
