    Default 1210 Tone Arms

So I just received my S4 Scratch upgrade from NI that I had purchased during the 50% Thanksgiving sale.

Now, all I need to do is replace both of my 1210 tone arms which have been broken for quite some time now. I never bothered to repair them, since I did not use vinyl much anymore.

I would like to ask the forum if anyone has purchased tone arms recently and from whom? experience?

I do not need to send them anywhere for repair, as I am going to replace myself with the help of a friend.

I see a few deals on ebay for some new OEM tone arms, but wanted to get input from you guys.

    Thanks!

Thanks for your input, but that's not what I am asking feedback on.

I am set on doing the repair and have done it before. I feel totally comfortable doing it myself.

There are plenty for pretty cheap, actually very reasonable only $48 for a few.

Replacing the tonearm requires many things to consider. Soldering, calibration and putting the tonearm assembly components properly. But if you're ready to do this, then go for it.

Hit me with a PM if ever you need assistance. I can guide you through it.

    Good luck!
