I'd shoot for anything that has 4 sets of stereo outs using RCA's, easiest connection to your mixer.

Honestly, the Audio8 is a wonderful piece of kit.
    It's the FAQ. Read it.

I mix with 4 decks with a ESI quatafire. It has 8 outs, but I would like 2 extra tbh (for queing)

Go for a 10 out card if you can afford it ....

    Cheers

Id be using the mixer for the queueing so 8 would be perfect

I'm sorry, I meant pre listening tracks.

With 8 out you can play all 4 decks, but no more room for a seperate pre listening output.

Good luck on your choise anyway

you can still pre listen to tracks using the cue function on your mixer, so you still dont really need an extra set of outs. i use a esi gigaport for exactly that and it works perfectly. think of cueing up tracks externally with hardware as opposed to internally through your software

I know what you mean, and I do that on my NUO4, I would just like to be able to pre listen tracks when browsing a tracklist or collection so I don't have to load it up (and have to reset the played state if I decide not to use it at that time)

If only you could use 2 soundcards at the same time (like onboard card for pre listening)

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I would love to be wrong on this one!, but I don't think you can use two soundcards at the same time in TPRO
