Default s4 + x1 or akai mpk mini?

    hi there

i have the kontrol s4, and im thinking about buying a controler to compliment s4,to get more control on samples cues and fx

ive heard that x1 is suited to work properly togheter with s4, but in the other way with akai i can can get a midi controller for production and for traktor with some mappings!

    wath controler will perform best?

    thanks for the help

    cheers

Akai most def. x1 has some really cool features, but the akai will give you more bang for buck in the long run. You can do some really interesting things with the Akai too.

The MPK is cool, the pads are great for the price - i wouldn't expect much from the knobs if i were you, they aren't great, very stubby.

ive already see the akai mpk mini in my local store...the unique problem are the knobs, dont feel great with them
maybe i go with the x1 because its fully suited to traktor...őr i need to try another midi controler not to much expensive...maybe the novation nocturn
