Default History of the Amen Break

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SaFTm2bcac

Although Nate's voice is rather monotonous, I found this 20-minute video interesting. The Amen Break has certainly melded into the collective audio unconscious. I've realized how common this break is now. :|

Awesome documentary, ended up watching again recently it in one of my courses this year and I was like "hell yes! jungle tunes!" as soon as 'original nuttah' came on.

First time I've seen that, so I appreciate the post.

Particularly enjoyed the last few quotations about sampling and how copyright laws can have an adverse effect on the creation of new music.

I thought the monotone voice worked given the context
