    Default Which controller....

I'm looking for a controller for around £400-500 to just play around with at home and do some parties.

I've looked at the Pioneer ergo and the S2, the latter appears to be more popular on here but other than the looks, button layout and traktor integration what else makes the S2 a better option.

    Any others to consider ?

    Thanks.

I'm in the UK, the cheapest Ergo is around £430 and S2 is £489.

You know of a supplier selling either of these for less or are you talking about looking at cheaper alternatives ?

    Thanks.

I honestly wouldn't go for the Ergo, from my research it is a pretty basic controller with alot of flashing lights and a huge Pioneer price tag on it. I started out with a Mixtrack, and it did me well for a little over a year and is a great beginner controller. But if you feel like getting something alittle higher end a A&H Xone: Dx is good, Theres alot of hype on the Twitch right now, though ive never touched one myself, Stanton has some interesting controllers like SCS.4DJ and SCS.3 complete. Just look around and find what ya feel would be best for you

S2 has high resolution jog wheels (main reason I picked up a S2)
