Default bed lifs for dj table?

I do alot of house parties, and the standard setup involves a fold up table to set up on. The problem is that those tables are kinda low for a controller setup.

So I was thinking, what about a set of Bed Lifts like the ones in the link below?

They're available at different heights and might be a easy portable solution to get things at a more comfortable height!

    Anybody ever try this?

if they can handle people having sex with them on the bed then i am sure they can handle a night of DJ-ing...

This is the BEST idea. Never seen a good option, but they seem pretty legit.

    Edit:
Though parties can get pretty rough an roudy, so I would be a little worried of one of them getting kicked out from under the table....

I stick lengths of pvc pipe on my table legs, those look pretty good, though!

I can vouch for the bed risers.

Being 6'4 its hard to find any kind of table thats about waist high.

Not a bad idea if you can find good sturdy ones.

I just use whatever books, magazines and boxes at house parties i can get my hands on raise my gear up.

for instance last week i used an old beer crate for my laptop. And a number of books & magazines for my x1 and soundcard.
And the mixer had a fightcase. It wasn't perfect ... but nothing really is.

lol... I think I may pick a set of these up and take them along with me next time I pay somewhere and test them out!

I think they even stack up with each other like plastic cups so carrying them should be easy
