Default Technics 1210 Pitch fader issue - recalibration?

    Wotcha

was doing my show last night and was having issue with my right deck - it's ever so slightly speeding up and slowing down whilst revolving. when the pitch fader is at 0% you can see the large dimples on the platter shifting slightly to the left then slightly to the right.

How can I fix this, or should I just get the decks serviced (Idon't think this has ever been done - the decks are second hand, and the bloke I bought them off was a numpty)

With the symptom you explained, looks like you need to replace the pitch control. Have it a check too if it only needs cleaning. Also have the drive IC (AN6675) and pitch IC (AN6682) checked as well.

Video I used to do mine. I had the same problem as you did and the particular table was off by a little bit. Hope it helps.
