Don't buy Monster cables there a complete waste of money.
Look for something with Neutrik XLRs on the ends and a high grade cable, i'd recommend Van Damme or similar.
If you need a few it would be worth buying a spool of cable and some XLR plugs and sockets and making your own.
Neutrik, Digiflex are the classic. There's several class of Digiflex one, all good.
Choose a decent one and always have a spare instead of only one twice++ time the price.
these are decent http://www.trueaudiophile.com/produc...es-2M-XLR.html

meh a bit cheap and will work well only if you're using them with a bag of Brilliant Pebbles

Anything with neutrik connectors.
XLRs are more or less XLRs.
I would just buy monoprice.
Not strictly true, what you would usually call a XLR is just a three pin connection. It carries balanced, unbalanced, stereo, or whatever you want it to carry.
As long as the three cores are separate (and it would be a pretty shoddy XLR 3 cable if they weren't) it will of course carry a balanced signal, but the fact it is balanced is a property of the generating equipment, not the cable.
I know, I just wanted to stay away of the "technical" details.
