Default Kontrol X1 or new Kontrol X?

Dilemma for myself, to wait and buy the new Kontrol X? or to buy the X1?

since we have no info yet on the new Kontrol X? (price etc) I wonder will the X1 come down in price when the new controller comes out!

    what would u guys do?

wait and scope out your chances, the new controller might be exactly what you need or it could be completely useless to you. Im guessing the price will drop so either way waiting is a win win

Too early to tell, but they look like completely different controllers for completely different applications.

New controller looks to be for a modified bridge to Ableton program - kind of like what SSL has.

If you want to control loops and efx -looks like the X1 is still your choice.

Wait! Wait because you know nothing about the new controller and wait because the price of x1 may come down.

Did you WATCH the video and see the clips being triggered?

    Apparently NOT

Depends on your needs, the X1 does a better job on it's original purpose. New one isn't meant to replace it, else it wouldn't be part of the video. The X1 current price is already a bargain for what it is.

What video have you seen that shows it as an Ableton bridge?? Only vid I've seen purely shows it triggering sample slots in Traktor.

+1 If they can make it internal, why go for a collab?

def wait.... the new controller is very different to the X1 plus the K2 is due out any time now which might be the best of both worlds... (apart from the gorgeous rgb led pads on this new one ofc )
