Default A flat or a angled controller?

    Hi guys,

I am just starting a rather ambitious project to build an all in one Traktor controller as Im fed up of all the controllers having Jog Wheels.

Ive got the designs down and ordered some parts, but the issue I am stuck with is whether or not to raise the controller. I could either build it at an angled much like the one found here... http://www.smithsonmartin.com/kontrol-surface-ks-1974/

Or would you prefer to have a flat controller like the S4 and most other controllers?

    Thanks,

    Jack

Personally I prefer flat for controllers meant to be used standing, angled for studio use.

i like them angled like the way the DJTT controller stands make them. but those are too expensive. I just put a binder with rubber grips under my MC 6000.

make the controller flat but use rubber feet that screw into the base of the controller to give you the option to either raise the entire controller up or angle the controller toward or away from you.

+1 angled is nice when in the studio (or used to when i *had* a studio ) esp when sitting down, but i'd prefer flat for standing/mixing

Personally, I prefer my gear to be at a very slight angle, unless it's turntables we're talking about, turntables should be flat.
