I thought we talking production here...not popularity.

I mean....The Sex Pistols were popular, but their music in essence was really bad compared to other bads out there.

    Just sayin...

    Timbaland ...innit?

Thats why I mentioned them specifically. I am not into her music at all, but can def recognize the production skill in it.

I almost completely forgot, Adam K and Soha too are fantastic as a production team, albeit most of their stuff sounds very similar to each other, they're production is top class,
and I guess morgan page in that realm too.

Add Deadmau5 to my last post, his remixs and old progressive stuff is just incredible and even his foray into more electro sounding material was fairly successful id say.

(i will stop defending Digweed as if he needed defending)
Again, I love Digweed But what sort of music does he actually play besides prog./tech house? I'm not trying to start an argument here, just to learn.

Porter does play/produce more than just Electro House. He does dubstep and moonbathon too. Granted, the sound is pretty much the same across all the different genres, but he is younger than Digweed and thus have else experience.

I'll stop here, as this is not a DJ vs. DJ thread. I still have better experiences with Porters own productions than Digweed though. Maybe I'm too young to know any better lol.
