    Default Which Midi Keyboard??

I am looking to add a 25 or 49 key midi Keyboard to go with my NI Mashine.
Pads are not really needed as the Maschine takes care of that but i am lost as to what to go for.

I looked at the Novation Impulse 25 keyboard but if anyone has some advise that would be great.

My style of production is hip-hop and some house stuff.

I think the Akai MPKs have the best keys for the price. I like my MPK49 and it feels 5x better than the Axioms.

So confused as what to get. I can't play a keyboard but i prefer one for bashing out bass and some piano sounds etc. I also looked at the M-Audio Oxygen8 v2.

M-Audio Axiom feel a lot better and are still affordable.

all depends on your taste....if you're asking if you will feel a difference then yes...you will most definitely feel the difference.

I got the Novation SL 49 Mk2 and it's awesome, the keys are super nice and it has an awesome amount of controls. Automap is sweet once you wrap your head around it. If you have Maschine then the pads of the MPK and Axiom just take up space that could be for extra knobs, which is what Novation did (they do have small pads, but Maschine takes the cake over the novation pads).

I once had the Korg Kontrol49. I didn't like it's cheap build-quality but $140 seems like a steal. That's definitely a lot of bang for your buck.

I have an Oxygen 25. It's $86 on Amazon and gets the job done. For another $24 you can replace the knobs with DJTT chroma caps.
