Default Help me with setup!! *not a noob!* SUPER URGENT

I'm a shitty writer, so here are some bullet points:

    • I'm a yung teen dj, I'm doing some teen club gigs soon.
    • I need to be more portable.
    • I figure that I'll be bringing my own gear all the time, and that a dvs system is only valuable when I am a legit club dj. The venues i play at have no club gear.
    • Have 2 pdx 2000 at the moment
    • I was going to buy a mixer + Traktor scratch
    • But I realized that I need to be more portable, and that turntables (carts, needles, calibration, etc) are too finicky.
    • But I like scratching
    • I HAVE UNTIL TONIGHT

Wat does yall suggest to do at this point? Both setups are around the same $$$ but I'm so lost. I don't want to fuck with my parent's money. Help me please!!

Im going to the gym now, brb in a couple hours.. please respond

Since you have a laptop just go s2/s4, or something like the ns7.

I guess the s4/s2 so you could run your pdxs as dvs at home.

Worrrd. I would def go with the s2, only the s4 if you need four decks. Ns7 is too bulky.

You my friend have some very nice parents.

Personally I think buying an S4 would be your best bet. You'd be able to utilize your PDX2000's with the scratch upgrade, and you'd have the portability of just the controller if you needed it.

If you're into scratching and want the ability to have an easily mobile solution, I think that's the glory of the S4.

Personally I went with buying Serato and Mixer, and since most of my friends have tables, just grabbing the SL1, control vinyl, needles, and laptop isn't a pain to move around. But if you have to move the setup around all the time, a controller can be a much more viable option. And the S4 is the only one with truly integrated DVS.

sorry guys I took a barbel to the knee.

Anyways, right now I'm considering selling all and buying some sort of package.
Unless there's a way to get a Traktor scratch (software+soundcard) and a mixer for around 500 usd....

The Kontrol s2 complete package on the djtt store seems tight.

I guess the question now is S2 vs S4 or some other controller..

    This is what you need:

    S4 + scratch upgrade

Just use the club's 2000 or 1000's with timecode for deck c & d and the s4 for deck A&B
