    Default residency mix

    hello.

ive be invited down to a local club to performe a mix to get a weekly residency there.
they have asked for a 10 minute mix.
im going to be mixing house music so here is my question
do they want to here a condensed 1 hour mix or do they just want 10 minutes worth of a whole hour?

I'd say they'd want a condensed mix - but not necessarily an whole hour worth. Try to do a verse and the chorus / drop before you mix to the next one. There's ton of these types of mixes online at places like mixcrate and mixcloud.com, so check out some of those.

Just put something together with 5 or 6 tracks that flows well.

I would say make the transitions quick. LIke Selbekk said, first verse, chorus, drop. If the next verse comes quick I would echo out and have the intro of your next track playing out under the chorus. They just want to hear that you can mix. good luck.

Play the verse, then the chorus, then the drop. Rinse and repeat.
