Default CDJ 2000 - Rekordbox vs Scratch Live vs Traktor 2 Scratch Pro

    Hi,

So after a while of trying Rekordbox, testing Scratch Live with HID support and a dissappointment about latency with traktor I'm not shure what to focus on anymore.

So what are your experiences with CDJ2000/DJM900 as a controller?????????

So you take a switch and network cables with you to a gig next to the USB externals?

well if I know I am using just a flash drive or external, you dont need a switch, the 2000's link together with one cable which most of the clubs have it hooked up like that already. for most of my gigs i just bring my own coffin which is all prewired, just plus in ethernet cable to macbook and play,

If you hook up your 900 to the switch, it'll receive beat grid data and you can quantize your effects. Not that its necessary but its pretty cool lol

absolutely, I have it like that in my case and leave the quantize on on the DJM900, but in the clubs, I'd rather not hook all that up just to quantize effects, Its easier to just have the 1 cat5 linking the decks
