Yeah saw that. I was very dissapointed being a bit of a psy head myself. i know as artists people want to progress but from psy to dubstep? Is it more about making money now i wonder? Give the masses what you think they want?
It's not the gear. It's how you use it.
limitations are the source of creativity.
If you don't practice you don't want it.

This is so confusing! On one end i am a dubstep fan, and i'm usually into pretty much this style, but i still listen to this with a VERY critical ear for the sole reason that i know that it's IM. I really hate their later trance-stuff but this is not as atrocious. I really wish i wouldn't have known it was IM the first time i heard it if you know what i mean.
i rarely listen to pop, so this track'll have to wait ^^ now i'll go to bed, gn8 xD
( www.sickinc.org ~ a psychedelic trance ritual )
Holy crap, even if it wasn't IM, that is really crappy Dubstep.

I actually liked it. They managed to incorporate some of their trance signatures into a dubstep song.
But then again, I have yet to hear an IM song I haven't liked, all the way back to The Gathering.
Not a fan of this track, not my taste in dubstep at all really...prefer lower end chill stuff.
Not sure theyre really going for dubstep to make money, there is every chance they just enjoy the sound and incorporated it.
I loved Vicious Delicious and there was a lot more than just psy trance going on there, Heavyweight is still a regular tune for me, worlds away from tracks like Cities of the Future for example.
On a side note i'd love to see Shpongle go dubstep
