This is my kinda jams. Love the real dubstep, conjures up images of shady people in a dark smoke filled room at 3am after-hours type sesh

I am not a 'fan' per say of dubstep, but this is what I would call quality 'underground' dubstep for lack of better words. It reminds me of the dark minimal D&B I liked when that genre first entered the scene.

Loved the heavy reverb on track one... is that in the production or your doing?
That song reminded me of one of my favorite producers of all time - Photek - in particular his classic track "1,2,4" for some reason.

Also enjoyed the Ragga-tinged track at 28 minutes.
The hip-house sounding break in track at 33 minutes was a nice touch.

Great work. It is unlike many of the dubstep remixes and productions that I find so formulaic now...

    ... as explained here

Thanks for listening. All the production credit here goes to the artists. It is a straight mix from me with no special effects. I used the filter once or twice.

To me this is and what dubstep always will be. When the popularity dies down this will be the sound that was there originally and will be left. Im not trying to create a debate here so please if your reading this don't say skrilllex made dubstep, as I will not respond to anything of this nature.

Im glad you guys like it and maybe you should check out the artists in the mix. Or listen to Youngsta on rinsefm Monday nights, Distance on Wednesday. You will be pleasantly surprised as to what is actually going on in the scene.

    Anyways cheers and thanks.

Well said. I may give those a listen.

Nice mix. It made me rethink the dubstep movement. To be honest, I simply hadn't delved deep enough into that genre yet. I love stuff that emits emotion.

This mix conveyed that. Nicely done.

I really dislike what has been branded as "Dubstep" recently. But I have got to admit, that is probably because I haven't heard anything like this.

    I like it a lot.

    Amen.

Edit: Solid mix, kept things nice and simple with a good flow.
