MIDI falls out?

Hey fellows.

I have a problem. Sometimes when I play in traktor the VCI-100 suddenly doesn't work. I have checket if there was a problem with a song but it isn't the case. It is neither with the effeckts it's wrong.
The solution is to restart traktor which isn't that great when playing other places than my bedroom.
Anybody have had the same problem, or know how to solve it?

Are you using the original usb cable that came with the VCI-100 ?
If so that probably your problem right there.

Might be the problem. The USB isn't from the VCI but from my basement. It could be many years old. I will look in to another one and hopefully not return to this subject.
