Do clubs usually provide serato?

Curious if most night clubs keep an sl1/sl3/etc hooked up apart of there equipment or when you go for a gig they ask you to bring your interface. I had a gig where they asked me to bring it but I thought most had it hooked up already.

no. I don't believe so. Most of the time you are required to bring your own interface.

Clubs pretty much never provide an interface, but when they do, I have only seen Serato around here. Never seen Traktor.

I've only been in one club where they had interfaces setup any others the DJ had to bring their own .. although in that case it was overkill LOL

2xSSL + 2xAudio4 in every one of 3 DJ boxes in the venue :-O .. very handy though !

Ive only ever been in two clubs that have serato installed, and one was just the resident DJs that he left there

Liambo where've you played that they dont supply CDJs? worst ive ever seen in a club is CDJ200's and an old vestax pmc

If the headliner uses Serato, chances are, there will be serato there as per their rider.

Never seen one here either...though theres the odd club installing a DJM900 now so thats tsp sorted!
