    Default Pioneer DJM 909 Hiss?

    Hi all,

Just picked up a used 909 & wondering if current owners have a hiss sound only when the main volume is turned at max.
It's mildly heard when the volume knob is midway, not much...but it is present. I really can't pass the 1/2 way mark while normal playing on my system anyhow.

I've been a Rane man for years. Just curious if this is normal for this mixer.

    Thanks in advance.

Even when the main volume is turned the way up? (nothing playing of course)
Channel faders do not affect it. I lowered & raised both, even tried the channel volume knobs & switched the inputs. I actually unplugged everything connected to the back of the mixer. There will never be a need to raise the volume to max, just something I noticed when everything was quiet in the room.
My Ranes have close to no sound when maxed out.
