I have 2 xt's in a raid setup on my 17" MBP'S, no problems thus far and will definitely be swapping for 2 of the newer 750gb flavor. Have the 500gb ones for over 2 years so far so good.

No Doubt the XT seems to be great when they work for people, just even going by the few on this board alone that are having issues is a little to many in a small community to consider one quite yet as my primary drive for the sake of minimal speed bumps over the WD black.
Next speed step is SSD I guess.
The only issues I've seen with the XTs for my personal setup is that ProTools seems to have issues with them. They don't like that dual SSD/Disk thing... Right now I'm about to swap my MBP drives out for a 120gb SSD for my system and a 1TB Momentous non-XT drive for the secondary. I've heard too many problems with the XT drives as far as reliability and some programs having issues with them. Too many to trust that they will work well in my setup.

Well I ordered the 750gb version and should have it this week. I need to see it for myself. I'm looking at it more for the space and the speed is a bonus. Then when I upgrade my computer I can take this drive plus a 120gb SSD.
That's the plan anyways.
