Beatport seems to be trying to change its stupid genre tags. I've noticed a few weeks ago they've started grouping 10 Must Hear tracks differently so it doesn't completely suck. The progressive page now has 2 charts per week, one is real prog, and is appropriately named 10 Must Hear Progressive House Tracks and the other is named Must Hear Club Hits. By hits, they're obviously referring to anything related to the Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, Tim Berg, Tiesto, Tim Berg, Deadmo-five, and Avicii. All they're missing is Skrillex.

Why do they call it progressive this and that?
I mean...as soon as they call it progressive.....it no longer progresses....

up, it all tends to stick to the sidechain- compressed beats that DEADMAU5 once dictated for the genre.
