    Default zooming in on waveforms

So I've just started djing with DVS and I love it but as I practice more scratching I began to wonder how much I should have my wave forms zoomed in. So my question to you all is how much do you zoom in on your wave forms while djing? I know if i zoom in a good amount it takes a lot longer for me to scratch a sample as opposed to it being zoomed out completely where it only takes minimal movements.

    ...

Zooming doesn't affect how much you need to move the vinyl, it only affects how the waveform is displayed on your computer.

Zoom in as much as possible, you want to train your ears not your eyes

Yup, just like Turntablists never look at their vinyl to see where their sample starts! Real scratch DJs can hear from the crackle of the vinyl.
