Default Chroma Caps vs Standard S4 Knobs

I'm considering purchasing a couple chroma caps to fit to my S4. I don't want to change the color of the knobs, I want to stick with black. Is there any advantage of the Chroma Cap black knobs over the standard S4 ones?

they are squishy, they feel a bit better on the hands. I normal ones are hard plastics, these are like gummy plastic and feel pretty decent.

I've got an S2 with Chroma Caps and they definitely feel grippier than the stock knobs.

Just don't get the super tacky colored ones.. The arcade buttons were ammunition enough for purists...

^I mean, my only dislike for controllers is the majority of their lack of looking professional, which just fuels the digital djing hate. By all means do what you want though

Got blue, white (kinda greyish) and black chromacaps which I mix and match - personally not crazy about the other colours. The tactile feel and 'contol' of the Chroma Caps - PARTICULARLY the sliders is WAY better than the standard plastic issue. IMO an affordable, worthwhile upgrade of my S4.
