s2 wont connect

Recently at a gig, i had my S2 go out cold on me, playing fine all night then all of the sudden, it was dead.

Tried re-installing S2 drivers to no avail.

Any ideas guys on what could have gone wrong/ how to fix and prevent in the future?

Any help would be much appreciated, i am about to do a clean install of traktor and see if that has any effect.

luckily i always have a few hour or so long mixes that i keep on my iphone just in case something disastrous were to happen so i was able to throw one of those on after a few wiring changes :/

Good news, Diagnosed the problem by connecting to my computer then checking to see if it would recognize the sound card. after jiggling the usb connection around on the back of the s2, i was able to pick it up.

sadly it is not possible to constantly jiggle a usb cable and play so looks like this one is going to be taking a trip to either NI or the repair shop
